Tasks (referring to high added value laser scanning microscopes):

• Design of measurement control software for medical and research instrumentation
• In the development of backend functions for measurement control software for medical and research instrumentation
• Helping to lead teams, organise the implementation of development tasks and support release processes
• Preparing documentation for medical and research instrumentation software
• Assisting in the testing of medical and research instrumentation software

Our ideal candidate will have the following competences:

• At least four years of object-oriented programming experience in C++
• At least two years of program development experience in medical device development
• Practice in GUI development (Qt)
• Ability to work independently and systematically, analytical thinking
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair
• Participation in tasks concerning build system, testing, version control
• Active participation in teamwork, good communication skills
• Good organisational skills, management support qualities
• Confident command of English
• University degree in computer science, electrical engineering or science

We see it as an advantage:

• Python development exercise
• Experience in developing measurement control instruments and their ergonomic user interface
• Knowledge of relevant standards for medical devices
• Experience in Code Verification & Validation
