Responsibilities of an Optical engineer:
- Design and setup of the optical systems of laser scanning microscopes
- Specification of optical systems and components
- Preparation of documentation as well as setup alignment and service protocols
Requirements:
- MSc degree in physics or fine mechanical engineering
- Familiarity with optical engineering and design
- Good command of English
- High level of independence and responsibility, as well as reliability, precision, and a good ability to work from your own initiative
- Good problem solving and communication skills
